FQ Weekend. Over & Out.

After so much planning, wishing and waiting I cannot believe that the Fat Quarterly Retreat has been and gone. I am now left feeling a tad deflated. Why oh why can't I hang out with the guys and gals I met everyday? Really why can't I? Please tell me.


I cannot put into words just now what the retreat meant to me, so to start with  I've decided to post you lots of pictures of what was clearly the best weekend. Ever. 
Starting with Friday, here we go:

And this was all before the official start of the retreat! As I'm uploading my photo's to Flickr just now (how slow) and reliving the memories, I hope to be able to form some sort of coherent post about each day of fun!

I'll be back soon with my reflection on Saturday's shenanigans!!

    I was only there for Saturday and felt a bit lost on Sunday with noone to talk to whilst I was sewing. It was sooo much fun

    It was fab wasn't it? So pleased we did the trek to Liberty & saw all the flags & bunting too. Looking forward to the rest of your musings!

    Sounds amazing and I think you very brave going with such a wee one. He is gorgeous and must be a very contented baby for you, and I guess your happiness must have rubbed off on him!!

    Hunter was the most popular baby ever! Every time I looked round someone else was holding him. Why weren't there quilting retreats when mine were little? It was wonderful to meet you and I think we should all live closer to each other too.
