purses and more

Well the buzz on the street this weekend for some is not the Olympics but the sending and the receiving of framed purses as part of the Framed In swap!

I was really lucky to have Di of Willowbeck Design making me a framed purse in the blind swap. Here's what she sent me
Framed Purse Swap Received!

You all know how I love Summersville so this purse was perfect!

Here's what I sent my partner who I can't name as they won't have received the package just yet! I stuffed the purse full of scraps in matching colours along with some teeny tiny crochet hearts.

This week I've done some more work on sewing room, here's a shot of my inspiration corner in progress. This is where my Mac is so I can see all my pretties whilst I'm working = perfect.

I've also been working on a quilt for my friends 40th birthday which is going to be late but hey ho, better late than never!! It's a bow-tie quilt using the tutorial on Katy's blog. I'm using Heather Ross's Far Far Away 2 paired with Essex Linen in Putty as she's a neutrals kinda girly girl!!

In the post this week I was excited to receive July's package from Pink Castle Fabrics Stash Club. I think it's Navy next month which will be great, I opted to get the full club in fat quarters which is 12 FQs per month.

Finally as it's the summer holidays we've been out and about enjoying the great outdoors, here's a collage of a fun day out had at Harewood House, Leeds last Thursday.
