A right busy weekend

Well after my big announcement on Friday night I've spent the weekend up to my neck it in it!!!

Saturday saw me, the hubs and 'Master M' drive the van down to Derbyshire to the lovely Mandy's to collect my new business venture 'Simply Solids' - Yikes!

Once we got home the real fun began - sorting and stacking fabric into the sewing room - woo hoo!

Sunday was all about the cutting and packing of orders and getting to grips with the behind the scenes of the website, lets just say I spent a long time on the phone with Mandy!

Today I've been speaking with various suppliers and will be doing a mini stock take this evening. Scratch that I've run out of time, poor baby Hunter is having mahoosive teething problems just now so I've just spent all evening cuddling him as he struggles with it. Poor thing.

That's after I've tidied up. This is waiting until tomorrow too now!

This is what busy looks like! Not that I'm complaining.....

PS: Leave me a comment if there are any specific Kona colours you want me to stock and I'll try my best to please you.

  1. Sounds like you need to put your feet up. Nice to see where my fabric came from one of those envelopes might be for me :-)

  2. Good luck Justine!
Poor Hunter - please do not let him dribble on the fabric x

  3. Very boring but Kona white - everyone seems to run out of it! Good luck - must be very exciting!

  4. Looks like you have your work cut out for you!

I have to follow along the boring path and second white and add snow to the list, I can never find it when I need it. =)

Also some nice, very pale gray would be great as I can never find that either, only darker grays.

  5. Oh, a fabric shop in your house - dream scenario!!! Hope Hunter's tooth comes through soon x

  6. Well it's looking pretty anyway :oD

  7. Aww, poor Hunter, I hope he is feeling better: lots of cuddles will have defintely helped, And remember, the housework will always be there!! Thanks for my package today :-)

  8. One of those pink parcels came my way and it was great, thank you for my free fq.

  9. Hope you have had a chance to relax now and that poor Hunters tooth is through. Please keep on stocking the PFD (prepared for dyeing) white kona fabric Thank you

Well hello and thanks so much for commenting! It's lovely to hear from you, Justine xx
